I think my activity based year might be starting to take its toll. Or it could be that my commute to and from work each day involves a three mile push. Or it could be that my chair is knackered and my right wheel has decided it no longer wants to rotate. Anyway whatever the reason my right arm has suddenly started to hurt whenever I push. It has got to the stage that that pushing any distance longer than a mile or so involves me pulling a face like I’ve entered the world gurning championships or I’m about to shout “hey you guys” in homage to Sloth from the Goonies.
This as you can imagine is a bit of a problem, as at the moment all I’m good for when the right arm starts to hurt is using just the left arm to push. As going in a straight line requires pushing with two arms this has become annoying and unless I decide I want a career making crop circles action is needed.
To try and get this sorted I’ve been having a few sessions at the British School of Osteopathy, www.bso.ac.uk, based in Borough in London. The great thing about going to the BSO is that you are seen by final year students so the cost of a session is minimal. I only pay a concessionary rate of £10 and I think this is superb value for over an hour’s treatment a time. Don’t be put off by the fact that that you are seen by students, there is always a tutor on hand if need be and I can’t fault the service. The school is in a great location, well if you live in London, and I’d highly recommend it if you have any aches and sprains. I’ve only had two sessions and I’m already starting to see the benefits.
